Gates Chili is proud to offer full-day Universal Pre-Kindergarten (for children who turn 4 by Dec. 1) and full-day kindergarten (for children who turn 5 by Dec. 1). Our curriculum is standards-based, with a focus on experiences that build key readiness skills in literacy and math. Play is a powerful learning tool for young students, and teachers purposefully incorporate playful experiences in the UPK and kindergarten school day. These experiences help children practice decision-making, develop empathy and emotional regulation skills, practice resolving conflicts, develop communication skills, and exercise their creativity.
