Schoology Parent Access

  • What is Schoology?

    Gates Chili Central School District uses Schoology, an integrated learning management system that provides course management, mobile learning, and supports system-wide communication. While students and parents/guardians will still use SchoolTool to access grades and attendance, Schoology empowers students to participate in interactive discussions, submit assignments digitally, receive announcements and feedback, collaborate with other students, complete assessments, and much more.

    Schoology Parent Accounts

    Gates Chili CSD will be providing primary parent/guardian Schoology accounts. Providing this access will allow families to view student's Schoology courses, view activity within the platform, and follow their learning more closely. If you have not received an e-mail containing your login information, please contact support@gateschili.org. With a Schoology Parent Account, parents will be able to view course information, some completed student work, discussion responses, submitted assignments/assessments, overdue materials and communicate with teachers.

    Important to note: some features of Schoology use third-party websites that will prevent parents to view (e.g. Office 365 documents which are stored on your student's OneDrive).
