ClassLink is Gates Chili's single sign-in portal. Once signed into ClassLink it will automatically sign you into any websites or programs that can be found within. ClassLink can be accessed through any browser via the Gates Chili website, and will open up automatically in a new tab when opening Chrome on a student computer.
Schoology is Gates Chili's Learning Management System. Schoology is where your child will access their day to day tasks, message their teacher, and complete assignments.
SchoolTool is Gates Chili's student management application that maintains student information. The SchoolTool portal is accessible from virtually any device that can access the Internet using a modern web browser. The student and parent portal are a component of SchoolTool that allows for access to the following information: contact information, class schedule, attendance record, grades and assessments.
Office 365 is a suite of tools provided by Microsoft that includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, OneNote and Teams. Some websites use the Office 365 login information as a way to sign in and access content. Most Office 365 documents can be accessed both through the cloud and stored locally on a computer.
Microsoft Teams is Gates Chili's videoconferencing tool. It can be accessed through a program downloaded onto student computers, through any browser, or through an app downloaded onto a tablet or cell phone. Microsoft Teams has replaced Zoom due to its integration with Office 365.
Windows 10 is the operating system that is installed on all student laptops. If you are used to a Chromebook or an Apple computer, this might look a little different.
SeeSaw is an app used by many of our primary classrooms. Seesaw is a platform for student engagement. Teachers can empower students to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. Students “show what they know” using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links. It’s simple to get student work in one place and share with families, and nothing is shared without teacher approval.
