For the second year in a row, the Gates Chili Central School District has been honored with a USA Top Workplace award by Energage, LLC, a provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures employee feedback on several facets of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, connection and more. The national Top Workplaces list is determined solely on this employee feedback.

“Gates Chili has continued to invest in its faculty, staff and administration. Last year, we committed to creating a welcoming, affirming and equitable environment for all and we truly appreciate being recognized for fostering a culture where our team feels valued,” said Gates Chili Superintendent of Schools Christopher Dailey.

“Recognition as a Top Workplace is really a credit to our faculty, staff and administrators who support and encourage each other,” said Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Labor Relations Michaela Perrotto. “Our Gates Chili values of respect, responsibility, compassion and hard work encourage an environment that has created the foundation for this national recognition.”

In 2021, Gates Chili earned a Top Workplace designation and was the recipient of a national diversity, equity and inclusion ranking. The district focused professional learning on improving these practices and eliminating barriers for students and the community at large.
