The Gates Chili Central School District is providing all students in grades 1-12 with a district-issued laptop. Families will be provided with a laptop protection plan at no cost to help lower the financial responsibility to the family if devices/accessories are damaged or lost.  Please contact the Assistant Principal at your student's school for any questions concerning laptop damage deductibles.

New laptops will be handed out in 1st, 5th, and 9th grade.  A laptop will be assigned to your student to use for 4 years, until it is replaced in the next refresh cycle (5th Grade and 9th Grade).  Families are responsible for loss/damage to the laptop.  

In order to receive a laptop students must have the following completed

1) Return their previous laptop (5th and 9th Grade)

2) Paid any damage/loss charges owed (5th and 9th Grade)

3) Parent/Guardian must have completed a new Laptop User Agreement for each new computer (1st, 5th, 9th Grade) in MySchoolBucks (www.myschoolbucks.com)
