First Lego League (FLL) Robotics Club
6th, 7th and 8th students will prepare to compete in the FLL Robotics Competition. Each year, FLL introduces a scientific and real-world challenge for teams to focus on and research.

Girls That Code Club
Each week students will participate in structured activities that teach coding skills. The club is designed to bring equity to the field of computers by giving girls the opportunity to learn computer coding skills. This club will be workign with Sarah Johnson, a library staff member from Gates Public Library. Students will need to bring their laptops to club meetings. Students who participate must ask a parent to fill out an online permission form at hq.girlswhocode.com

Science & Technology Enrichment Program- MCC
STEP MCC is a unique enrichment program for GCMS students. Qualifying students are invited to join based on demographically under-represented groups that also maintain a GPA above 78%.
Advisor: Ms. Manhertz
Technology Club will feature many hands-on activities and projects. Students will meet once per month to build projects and compete with one another in a fun learning environment. This club is open to all 7th and 8th grade students.
