I have been a teacher at Gates Chili for the past 16 years.  During this time, I have been fortunate to be able to provide special education services to students in a variety of formats.  I have worked with 6th, 7th and 8th graders in math, science, social studies, reading and English throughout the years.  I have worked as a Consultant Special Education Teacher in the general education classroom in the past.  I have been teaching a smaller class (12:1:1) for several years.  I love my job and have the best students in the world.

I know that a close connection between home and school is how students learn best and feel most supported.  I welcome parent communication through email, phone calls or texts. 

I have missed being in the classroom for the past months and am incredibly happy to be going back to teaching in person.
