Gates Chili CSD needs your help to finalize additional details of its reopening plans. While these plans are still tentative and subject to approval by the governor, it is critical that the district begin finalizing these plans in order to communicate student placement with families.
You may recall, in accordance with current NYSED and NYSDOH guidelines, Gates Chili cannot open fully in person. This means that we will move forward with our hybrid and remote instruction models when we begin school on Sept. 14.
Gates Chili submitted plans for an in-person, remote and a hybrid model instruction. After review of these plans, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo will make a final decision on reopening schools.
Headlines feature Capital Project Update, 150,000+ meals served during COVID-19 school closure and a full synopsis of our Class of 2020 commencement ceremonies.
Thank you again to all the families, staff and most of all, our graduates, who took part in this wonderful day. We are so proud to have been able to hold live ceremonies and provide a compilation video for our Class of 2020. OHANA!
Gates Chili is pleased to be able to proceed with kindergarten screening for the 2020-21 school year. Guidance from health officials will be followed to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.
