Joseph Garcia has been recognized with the 2023 NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award. The award recognizes outstanding Hispanic and Latino youth football players for their athletic and academic excellence. The Bills partnered with the Hispanic Heritage Council of Western New York to select and distribute the awards this year.

Dr. Patrick Irving has been selected as the next Athletic Director at Pittsford Schools. High School Principal Ken Hammel will move into the role of Interim Director of Physical Education, Health and Athletics. Assistant Principal Tom Hammel moving into the role of interim principal and high school science teacher Laura Braid moving into the role of interim assistant principal at the high school.
Mrs. Dossier has been a math teacher in Gates Chili for 17 years. Pending Board of Education approval, she will take over as leader of the Amerks community on June 20.
