    June Exams

On Monday, June 3, 2019, students taking Regent’s Global History II will be pulled out of classes to take their Regent’s Assessment. Regular classes will be in session for all high school students on this day.

The last day of regular classes for Gates Chili High School will be Friday, June 14, 2019.  Final Exams for high school students will begin on Monday, June 17, 2019, through Tuesday, June 25, 2019.  On these days, only students who have Regents examinations, final local examinations or students enrolled at WEMOCO must attend school.

During the exam period, the regular morning and afternoon bus schedules will run.  In addition, there will be a special mid-morning bus run that will pick up students who have either afternoon exams or afternoon WEMOCO.  The last day for WEMOCO students will be Monday, June 17, 2019.  This same transportation will depart the High School with those students who have completed morning testing or morning WEMOCO. Copies of the bus schedule (listing the route and pick up times) are posted in grade level offices, cafeterias, on-line (click here) and at security.

Information concerning the exact time and location of all examinations is available from each student’s classroom teacher.

Locker clean-out will be on Thursday, June 13, 2019.  Students will not be allowed to bring personal belongings (bags, hats, etc) into the building, beginning Friday, June 14, 2019.  Due to State Assessment regulations, electronic devices are prohibited beginning Monday, June 17, 2019.  Students will not be allowed into testing sites with electronic devices or exams will be invalidated.  School phones will be available for student use.  Proper identification will be required to pick up any confiscated electronics.  The school is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.  Please leave all cell phones, electronic devices and other personal belongings at home.

If you have any questions regarding the June Examination Schedule (click here), please contact your child’s classroom teacher or counselor.
