Board of Education

The Board of Education serves as the governing body of the Gates Chili Central School District, overseeing the education of our community's youth. Comprising dedicated volunteers elected by district residents, the board is responsible for setting policies, developing a shared vision for the future of education, and ensuring that district resources are aligned to improve student achievement.

Working collaboratively, board members hire and evaluate the superintendent, adopt and maintain current policies and ratify collective bargaining agreements. Their commitment ensures that Gates Chili schools remain responsive to the needs of the community, fostering an environment where every student can succeed.
