Gates Chili Central School District

If your student will be absent from school, you must notify the school. If you do not notify the school about your student’s absence, you will receive an automated notification through ParentSquare. See more about ParentSquare below.

Transportation and buses are provided and maintained by the district for each student. District-provided buses are equipped with lap-shoulder belts to ensure every student is transported to and from school safely.

Every school has a school nurse who coordinates health care in the school setting, answers routine medical questions, gives immediate first aid, provides medical care and more!

Our school nutrition team will provide FREE nutritious breakfasts and lunches every school day! Daily menus for breakfast and lunch are available online.

The district manages several calendars for your convenience, including an at-a-glance calendar of the year, pattern days for elementary students and a printed 12-month calendar mailed to all student households. For the most up-to-date events, times and locations, check our online calendar.

Student academic progress and attendance records are available through SchoolTool. The Parent Portal can be accessed online.

Students whose parents/guardians are involved in their school do better academically and socially. Volunteer opportunities range across grade levels. Apply to be a Gates Chili volunteer on our website.
