Gates Chili Central School District

Gates Chili Facilities staff work together to provide a clean, safe, secure and aesthetically-pleasing environment to enhance the educational and community experience, exceeding all expectations and in support of the district's mission and values. 

The department is made up of maintenance and custodial teams, who maintain 824,651 square feet of facilities at 10 buildings, and the grounds team, who maintain 230 acres of property, 24 athletic fields, an athletic stadium, a track, nine playgrounds at the elementary schools and 12 tennis courts. We maintain a highly-trained staff, including specialized trade skills such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, mechanics, painters, and carpenters to assure that all structural and mechanical areas of the buildings are in good working condition.
