Strategic Planning

Gates Chili is developing a new strategic plan to guide the district’s work over the next three to five years. Building on community input, district data and collaborative planning, the process has identified four strategic priorities that reflect where we want to focus our efforts and the outcomes we hope to achieve.

During the 2026-27 school year, the district is moving from identifying those priorities and intended outcomes to developing the specific actions that will bring them to life. An important part of this phase is gathering perspectives from the people who experience our schools and systems every day. Feedback from students, staff, families and district leaders will help identify areas of progress, gaps and potential action steps before the plan is finalized. That approach reflects the planning team's decision to gather stakeholder feedback specifically to inform action development.
