A proud class of 1996 alumna, she has been a community member for 38 years and currently resides in Chili with her husband and two daughters --one a 2024 graduate now attending Syracuse University, and one a current high school sophomore. Katie led the Paul Road School and Family Association as president for four years. Katie holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Syracuse University and has worked at The Hartford for 23 years. As a Client Support Consultant, she brings extensive experience in policy administration, financial accuracy, and customer service.

During her first term, Katie has served on the Ad Hoc, Policy, and Finance, Facilities, and Audit committees; helped revise and implement the district's current Code of Conduct; and currently serves on the Long-Range Planning Study Advisory Committee. She has attended National School Board Association and New York State School Board Association annual conferences, with focus areas including staff wellness and student engagement. Katie is a strong supporter of public education, fiscal responsibility, and equitable opportunities for all students, and is seeking another term to continue the district's momentum on this important work.

She serves on the District Improvement Team (DIT) and is a dedicated member of the Policy Committee, contributing to initiatives that support student success and organizational effectiveness. As a parent of two students in the Gates Chili Middle and High School, she remains engaged in her children’s academic and extracurricular activities.

  • Adam Reinhardt is a 1998 graduate of Gates Chili and a longtime Gates resident. He and his wife, Alicia, have two children—one attending Gates Chili Middle School and one at Gates Chili High School. Adam works as a Speech-Language Pathologist in special education, supporting students who use augmentative and alternative forms of communication (AAC). He earned his B.A., in English Education from Roberts Wesleyan College and his M.A., in Speech Language Pathology from SUNY Geneseo.
