Bushra Kassem is a senior at Gates Chili High School and serves as the Student Ex-Officio Member of the Board of Education for the 2026-27 school year after being elected by her peers. An accomplished student and leader, she is an Advanced Placement (AP) student, Peer Leader, School Improvement Team (SIT) member, ROC 2 Change Ambassador and Gates 2 Change Ambassador. She has also participated in the district's Cultural Fashion Show and is actively involved in making Gates Chili a welcoming and inclusive school community. Through her role on the Board of Education, she looks forward to representing the student voice and helping strengthen the connection between students and district leadership.
