Spartans place at NYS Indoor Track and Field Championships

Gates Chili was represented well at the NYS Indoor Track and Field Championships at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, NY on March 7.

Junior Calvin Finger placed second overall in the high jump, jumping 6 feet and 6 inches. Junior Brennan Hong placed seventh overall in the pole vault clearing 14 feet.

In addition to his second-place win, Calvin also qualified for nationals which will be held in Harlem, NY on March 13-14.
