GC students demonstrate the Spartan Way at Foodlink event

Several Gates Chili High School Peer Leaders were hard at work volunteering at Foodlink's monthly food distribution in mid-October. These students and their classmates unpacked trucks, sorted food and helped distribute to families in need in our community! Peer Leadership is a HS elective within the Health department. Students take this class to be involved with service-learning projects that are student-created and implemented. Students who completed Peer Leadership accumulate at least 75 volunteer hours. Way to go, Peer Leaders!
