GCCSD ranked No. 5 in the nation for DE&I practices

Gates Chili is again being hailed as a leader in diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), this time by Top Workplace USA.

On Oct. 20, it was announced that the district earned a Top Workplaces National Culture Excellence award for DE&I practices, ranking fifth nationally for its diversity, equity and inclusion practices in the category for companies with 500-999 employees.

This national award celebrates organizations that have implemented practices and standards to make their workplaces more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. The award is based on a combination of questionnaire scores, in addition to meeting or exceeding the overall Top Workplaces national benchmark.
