Required Immunizations

  • Public Health Law, Section 2164, requires all pupils be immunized against the following diseases.
    • Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus (DPT)
    • Polio (oral) 
    • Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) 
    • Hepatitis B 
    • Varivax 

    *  Please note that the varivax and the first dose of MMR must be administered no more than 4 days prior to a child’s first birthday to be in compliance with the law

    All students must be compliant with their immunizations within 14 days of entering school (30 days if arriving from out of state or country), or they will be excluded. This is per NYS education law and cannot be altered. 

     

    Covid-19 Vaccinations

    At this time, Covid-19 vaccinations are optional, and not mandatory in NY state. If your child does receive the Covid-19 vaccination, please inform the school nurse or email a copy of the vaccination card. This will be added to their school vaccination record.
