Florence Brasser First Grade
Below you will find At-Home Learning Opportunities that students may work on during the COVID-19 school closure.
Hello! Here is an outline of materials for you and your child to use for the coming week. Many online resources can be found on the district’s Classlink. You can go to the First Grade Webpage on the Brasser Website for more activity ideas. Riddle answers are at the bottom of each day’s activity list. If you scroll to the end of the chart, you will also find a list of generic comprehension questions for read alouds. It is recommended that our first graders participate in approximately 1½ to 2 hours of school work a day. It is very important to complete assignments at home to help your child be successful. Remember to give brain breaks and wiggle breaks in between activities (such as GoNoodle, and short Youtube videos) We suggest checking out Jack Hartman and Harry Kindergarten.
Beginning April 24, 2020, parents can sign up for a Schoology account. Providing this access will to your student's Schoology courses will offer the ability to view activity with the platform and follow their learning more closely:
All materials can be found in Schoology. To access, please click on this link which will take you to Classlink.
