Newsletters and publications

The Gates Chili Central School District publishes two main newsletters to keep families and district residents informed about news and events in our schools. In addition, the district publishes an annual Calendar/Handbook for families and staff, which includes key information, policies and useful resources.

A monthly publication, the Gates Chili e-Newsletter has become a vital source of news and updates for our dedicated staff and families. Featuring important districtwide news, upcoming events, and highlights of students in action, it also serves as a platform to celebrate Gates Chili’s rich cultural diversity. The e-newsletter is emailed to all staff and families each month. It is also posted on our website and shared on social media. This newsletter also serves as the vehicle for sharing current job opportunities and information about new staff by linking to the Growing Our GC Family Tree e-newsletter that includes photos and bios for all new staff members hired in that month.

The Gates Chili Central School District Newsletter provides district residents with information about news and events in the schools. There are four issues per school year: Fall (November), Winter (February), Budget (May) and Graduation (July).  Each issue features stories about the district, its schools and programs, as well as a message from the superintendent, the most up-to-date information on capital project planning and/or progress, and upcoming events. Issues are mailed to every district resident (nearly 13,500 homes throughout Gates and Chili) and distributed to every staff member in their school mailbox.
