Dear Panther Families,
We hope you are enjoying a restful and fun summer! The last few weeks have been VERY eventful at PRS.
Our Capital Project continues to move steadily forward and on schedule for the most part! We have also started to schedule special events and our school instructional goals for the new school year.
Some highlights from July include:
-Our new front entrance is structurally complete; cosmetic work and security systems are the last parts to be installed
-Our new cafeteria door is underway, along with work in new student and faculty restrooms
-Radiators and copper piping original to the building are being replaced with energy-efficient heat systems
-Student devices (laptops) are being serviced with updated software. All students in grades 1 through 5 will have their own computers, with Kindergarten students using a 2:1 ratio for computers
-Our summer meals program is happening right in the Panther Cafe - students 18 and under are able to receive free breakfast and lunch (check out https://www.gateschili.org/spartaneats or more information)
Thank you for staying updated with us! Be sure to check out the summer reading program at the Chili Library and of course, all the fun activities that our friends with the Chili Recreation Department are offering this summer.
There is still A TON of summer left - ignore the Target 'back to school' isle that's already up. For us, it's just too soon for that! :-)
Mr. Hens & Mr. D

Breakfast is served from 7-10 a.m. Lunch is served from 10:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Volunteers can schedule the days of the week/mealtimes that work for them.
