Fundraising and Student Support
The Music Boosters organize multiple fundraisers throughout the school year to support both the program as a whole and individual student opportunities. These efforts help cover:
- Marching band snacks and supplies
- Student travel expenses
- Senior scholarships and awards
- Music banquet expenses
- Approved uniform or equipment costs
Some fundraisers, like the Annual Bottle and Can Drive, support the general Music Boosters fund. Others, like the Garden Factory Gift Card Sale, allow students to earn credit in individual student accounts. These credits may be used for:
- Trip payments
- Marching band shoes (dinkles) or shirts
- Banquet tickets
- Other staff-approved expenses
Any unused balance at the end of a student’s senior year may be transferred to a sibling or rolled into the general Boosters fund.
Payments:
Checks/money orders should be made out to Gates Chili Music Boosters with the student’s name in the memo line.
PayPal payments can be sent to [Gates Chili Band Boosters] using the “Send to a Friend” option. Please include the student’s name and purpose of the payment in the note.
