WIGGLE CHAIR
This grant will fund the purchase of a wiggle chair in an elementary building to provide large motor movement to students who would benefit from this option. 

MAGNETIC LETTERS
This grant partially funds the purchase of materials relevant to the district’s phonemic awareness program.

The grant helps the club to purchase supplies for each topic covered.

This grant will help assist students wishing to attend the Model UN conference.

Funds will be used to purchase supplies promoting better understanding of diversity in the school.

This grant will help the art teacher, librarian and third-grade students write their stories to further diversity learning.

This grant will allow for the launch of a districtwide collection of library maker materials for use by students and staff.

PERISHABLE ITEMS FOR HIGH SCHOOL HONORS BIOLOGY EXPERIMENTS
With this grant, all Honors Biology students will be able to conduct microbiology experiments.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM KIT
This grant will allow for the purchase of virtual classroom kits that will be shared throughout the four elementary buildings.

INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY
This grant will serve third-grade students as they work in small groups in an integrated, co-taught classroom by helping fund display monitors.     

EV3 LEGO Robot Education Sets
The grant helps to replace materials used by the sixth-grade science students.

TEENS HELP ELDERS WITH DEMENTIA REVIVE MEMORIES THROUGH MUSIC 
This grant will support a service project for students wishing to participate in this pilot program.

With this funding, the teacher of this class will be able to fully implement the curriculum as it relates to News2you.

A grant was awarded to help defray the costs associated with student participation in UN conferences.

3D PRINTER FOR PAUL ROAD LIBRARY
This grant was awarded to allow students to create and be innovative in designing commonly used objects in their school environment.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES AT NEIL ARMSTRONG SCHOOL
A partial grant was awarded to fund various equipment and supplies for our students who exhibit attention concerns.

GRANTS FOR DUAL CREDIT COLLEGE COURSES
Two high school students in economic need received funding to cover the cost of dual credit college courses.

GRANTS TO FUND EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
An individual student with health and financial challenges was supported to enable participation in a field trip.

TIME WARNER PLUS WATCHES
This grant will be used to purchase watches for students to help them develop more positive classroom behaviors and support academic skills.

HIGH SCHOOL PRIME TIME EVENT
A donation was made to support the district's effort to keep soon-to-be graduates safe after Senior Ball.

Fall 2016
MOTOR BOXES FOR INCOMING UPK AND KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
A grant was awarded to Neil Armstrong’s Occupational Therapists to fund “motor boxes” for 150 incoming UPK and Kindergarten students. This grant enables some of our students with help to develop the motor tools they need to enter UPK and Kindergarten.

GRANTS FOR DUAL CREDIT COLLEGE COURSES
A number of individual high school students in economic need received funding to cover the cost of Roberts Wesleyan dual credit courses.

MODEL UNITED NATIONS CLUB
A grant was awarded to help defray the costs associated with student participation in UN conferences.

ACADEMIC VARSITY CEREMONY
This grant was awarded to support purchases related to the associated ceremony for students who are inducted into this organization.

ELEMENTARY STEM LEGOS
A grant was made for the purchase of Legos to promote STEM thinking and problem-solving.

GRANTS FOR DUAL-CREDIT COLLEGE COURSES
A high school student in economic need received funding to cover the cost of taking a dual credit course at Roberts Wesleyan College.

NATIONAL STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE IN BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUMMER 2017
A contribution was made to a high school student’s attendance at this conference.

​SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LIBRARY COLLECTION
A grant provided funding to an elementary school’s school psychologist to begin building a social-emotional library collection for our students, families and staff across the district.  We are pleased to have funded this resource and provide much needed support for our greater Gates Chili community.

SUPPORTING NEW ARTS INTEGRATION INITIATIVE
A grant was awarded to support the new district initiative around arts integration in our schools. This grant will help students acquire wider educational knowledge about the arts.
