Gates Chili CSD named Top Workplace for 2021 by the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle
Gates Chili Central School District has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2021 honor by Rochester Top Workplaces. This award comes just two months after the district was named a Top Workplaces USA for 2021.
“To receive this recognition amongst other local businesses is a great honor and a true testament to the culture we foster in Gates Chili,” said Superintendent Christopher Dailey. “It was a difficult year for educators everywhere as we navigated—and continue to navigate—the ins and outs of the COVID-19 pandemic. I’m humbled to know that despite the obstacles we faced, our outstanding faculty, staff and administrators take pride in our district and helping our students grow.”
In addition to the Top Workplaces title, Gates Chili was also honored with a Diversity Award, which recognizes employers that have policies and practices aimed at providing a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
“This award speaks to our intentional practices over the last few years of developing a culture of inclusion,” said Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Labor Relations Michaela Perrotto. “While we have much work still to do, it is an honor for us to be recognized in our region for the hard work that has already been done to focus on equity, diversity and inclusion. We will continue to embrace opportunities to learn and grow, even when difficult because ultimately we’re all here for our students and it is what they deserve.”
Top Workplace awards are based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, to name a few.
