Gates Chili alumni to be honored at Day of Champions Dinner

Two Gates Chili alumni are set to be honored at the Rochester Press-Radio Club’s 70th Annual Day of Champions Dinner on April 3.

Former Gates Chili basketball standout and current senior guard for University of Buffalo Cierra Dillard (’14) will receive the Amateur Athlete Award. Patrick Staley (’15) will serve as Honorary Chair of the dinner, representing Roberts Wesleyan College.

The dinner, to be held at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center, will be headlined by record-setting Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes will receive the Coca-Cola Sports Personality of the Year Award.

The Rochester Press-Radio Club has been supporting Rochester-area children’s charities since 1949.
