Certamen academic competition on November 17, 2018.

Several Gates Chili Latin students participated in the Certamen academic competition on November 17, 2018. The Certamen involves questions about all aspects of the classical world in a quiz competition with buzzers. It provides a way for students to extend their learning outside of the classroom, to compete against their peers from other schools, to gain recognition, and to socialize with other students who share their interests. The competition is offered at both the State and National Convention. There are three (3) levels that include novice (for first year students), intermediate (for second year students), and advanced (for students from any level).
