Good Morning Gates Chili Spartans! Here are your daily announcements.
Locker clean-out will be on Thursday, June 13, 2019. Students will not be allowed to bring personal belongings (bags, hats, etc) into the building, or access their lockers beginning Friday, June 14, 2019.
Last year we successfully gathered loads of gently used supplies for the upcoming school year. We need your help once again!! As you clean out your lockers please place any school supplies that are still usable into the "good stuff" barrels in the hallways. Your assistance with this effort is greatly appreciated!!
As per the NYS ASSESSMENT POLICY
- Students will not be allowed into testing sites with electronic devices or other personal belongings (hats, bags, etc.).
- School staff has the right to collect cell phones and other prohibited electronic devices prior to the start of post-assessments
- Any student in possession of an electronic device will have their exam invalidated.
Leave all cell phones, MP3 players, smart watches and other personal belongings at home. You will not be allowed into the testing site with these items. The school is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.
All library materials must be returned to the library by Friday the 14th. Failure to return library items will result in a bill requesting payment .
Attention all students taking AP biology next year. You must pick up the summer assignment in room 308 from Mr. McBride. The AP biology assignment is due on the first day of classes in September. After Friday copies will be available in the guidance office.
Attention, Students taking AP US History: If you have not received a summer assignment, you need to see Mr. Borrino in room 338 by the end of the week. You also need to sign out a copy of the textbook for the required course work over the summer.
Attention CO-OP students, please turn 4th quarter work and employer evaluation by next Thursday the 13th.
Seniors, Cap and gown pickup will be on Monday, June 17th from 9:30-11:30 and 1:30-3:00, and Monday, June 24th from 8:00-9:15 in the bookstore by Mr. Whitmore's office. You must turn in your laptop and must have paid in full for the cap/gown before coming to get the cap and gown. You will not pick it up otherwise. No students can pick up a cap/gown for another student.
The varsity track and field team sent six athletes to compete at the New York state meet this past weekend. Calvin Finger, Savion joyles, and Dyonte Allen competed in the high jump at States. Marcus McFadden competed in long jump, while Brennan Hong and Dustin Meyer competed in Pole vault. Marcus took forth in the state for long jump and Dustin took first in the state for Pole vault. Congrats to all athletes on the State meet and a great season.
Any girl interested in playing tennis next Fall please stop and see Coach Johnson this week. You need to pick up information regarding the tennis program.
Attention three sport athletes. Please come down to the athletic office to pick up your three sport athlete t-shirts before physical education or during 9th Opportunity.
