Upcoming Spring Dates:

 

Thursday, April 25      Spring Concert                    7:30 PM

11-12 Band should meet in the chorus room at 7:30. Seniors should arrive between 7:00 and 7:15 for flowers.

 

Saturday, May 11      Lilac Parade                          10:30 AM

Everyone should meet at the high school at 9:00 AM. Students will change into their uniforms and we will depart for the parade at 9:30 AM on school buses. 

We should return to school at approx. 12:15 PM.

 

Sunday, May 19        Henrietta Parade                  1:00 PM

Everyone should meet at the high school at 11:30 AM.  Students will change into their uniforms and we will depart for the parade on school buses at noon. 

We should return at approximately 3:00 PM.

 

Saturday, May 25      Darien Lake Parade             11:00 AM

Everyone should meet at the high school at 8:45 AM.  We will NOT wear band uniforms.  Everyone will wear their band t-shirts with shorts/ jeans and sneakers.  We will depart from the high school on school buses at 9:15 AM. 

We should return to school at approximately 7:45 PM.

 

Monday, May 27       Memorial Day Parades

                                               Chili Parade                                      8:30 AM

                                                Gates Town Hall Performance          9:30 AM

                                                Downtown Parade                            10:30 AM

Everyone should meet at the high school at 7:15 AM.  Students will change into their uniforms and we will depart for the 1^st parade on school buses at 7:45 AM. 

We should return to school at approximately 1:00 PM.

 

Everyone is expected to attend all the spring performances. 

Job related activities are not acceptable excuses.  Please advise Mr. Welch or

Mr. Oldfield with a pink slip signed by a parent AT LEAST one week in advance, if you are not able to attend because of a family or school sport obligation.

           

In the event of an all day steady rain, we will not perform.  We will try to make weather related decisions prior to our departure time.

Darien Lake will not be cancelled because there is shelter at the park.

 

Summer Band Camp will take place from Monday, August 26^th through Thursday August 29^th  (Additional info later this spring)

Home Football Game Schedule is still TBD, however, please plan on opening ceremony of the new field on FRIDAY AUGUST 30^TH
