    The following list provides websites that may be helpful for parents and staff members working with students with disabilities or a variety of other needs.

    • www.interventioncentral.org This website is largely associated with the Response-to-Intervention movement and includes a wealth of knowledge and various research-based academic and behavioral interventions.

     

    • www.familyeducation.com This website provides parents with more information about the educational process, as well as general information about children from infancy through the teen years.
     
    • www.childrensdisabilities.info This site provides general information, research, and articles about a variety of disabilities, interventions, and available resources.

     

    • www.ldonline.org The LD Online website provides additional information about various learning disabilities and about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

     

    • www.nasponline.org The National Association for School Psychologists provides a site that includes information about the roles and responsibilities of a School Psychologist, including how they can assist students, their families, and school staff. In addition, information is available regarding students with disabilities, interventions, and available resources.

     

    • www.nysed.gov The New York State Education Department website includes an extremely large amount of information pertaining to all aspects of education, including laws, curriculum, and educational objectives.
