  • Have you ever seen my class pass you by in the hallways? The cafeteria? The office? Have you ever wondered, "What are they doing, anyways???"

    We are making sure that we get some movement in. Because we work so hard in third grade, we find ourselves needing stretch breaks. This is where fitness comes in. Each day, the helpers of the week determine what we are going to do during our fitness time. We will either do laps around the building (inside or out-depending on the weather), Tae Bo video tape, relays in the gym, or races outside on the soccer field. We are also using the Smart Board to participate in Brain Gym, which helps prepare our bodies and brains for learning!

    Students have really enjoyed being able to get up and get moving! Be sure to have sneakers every day, as we will get into the fitness routine right away!
