Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment to enhance the well-being of students, faculty, and visitors, and protect all school district property.

The Security Department collaborates with local enforcement and community organizations in fulfilling its mission.

This response plan is intended to demonstrate an effective action in communication to specific intrusion, fire alarms, power outages, boiler alarms, maintenance of public order violations, emergency weather conditions,  and / or other emergency crisis situations

Security Updates: Student Parking


Student parking permits are issued through the security office, located at the front entrance of the High School.  When submitting the completed application, applicants will need to bring their license and vehicles registration to be copied and kept on file.  Applications may be picked up in the security office.  You may download a parking application by clicking on the student parking link.

Student parking is a privilege at Gates Chili.  It is important that student drivers and their parents understand the rules and regulations that govern this privilege.  Noncompliance with this policy and/or violation of applicable laws may result in the revocation of driving privileges on School District property.

Seniors that are interested in driving to school next year must print out a parking

letter and application online.  Applications must be postmarked and return to the

Security Office by Friday, August 19, 2011.  All information must be complete and

accurate prior to approval.  Please remember to submit a copy of your NYS

driver's license and registration with this application.
