Mrs. Meador and Mrs. Townsend are really excited about starting the 2010-2011 school year. We hope you did lots of reading over the summer! Our theme for Summer Reading was Go For the Goal, A Summer of World Excitement! We tied into the countries who participated in the World Cup. The World Cup was held in South Africa in June and July. It was fun to see all these great soccer players representing their homelands. Do you know which country won the Cup? Those players did their best! We hope you did your Summer reading best too! Please return all reading logs to the Disney Library by Friday, September 12th. Make sure you have listed your name, teacher's name, grade level, and titles read! For Grades 3 - 5 you can also list the number of pages in your books. The K - 2 Summer Reader's Party will be announced soon. The 3 - 5 Summer Reader's Party will also be announced as soon as we know a date. Parents are welcome to attend these parties. More news will be sent home about this soon!
