How&nbsp;have&nbsp;you been spending your summer vacation? I just had a baby on June 14th, so most of my summer days have been spent at home snuggling my sweet&nbsp;little girl, Morgan Elizabeth.&nbsp; When the weather is nice (which seems to be rare this summer), I like to get out and go for walks in my neighborhood, sit out on my&nbsp;deck,&nbsp;or watch my husband play softball.&nbsp;On the rainy days I have been catching up on my reading, spending time with my family, and just relaxing with the baby and my husband.&nbsp;Mr. Meyer and I hope to take a mini family vacation somewhere close to home before school starts back up again---I am not sure where we are headed, but it would be fun to get away! </P> <P>Now it's your turn! It is my favorite time of year---the leaves are changing colors, the temperature has dropped, and...we are FIVE WEEKS into the school year! Time flies! How are you adjusting to middle school life? Costumes are always lots of fun...sometimes it is hard to choose!&nbsp; What are your plans for Halloween? </FONT><FONT color=#ff9933>My daughter, Morgan, is going to be the cutest skunk ever--she is "my little stinker"! With Thanksgiving drawing near, we often take time to stop and think about all of the things that we are thankful for in life! I have a lot to be thankful for...</FONT></P> <P><FONT color=#660000>I am&nbsp;most&nbsp;THANKFUL for...my beautiful daughter, Morgan...my supportive husband and family...my loyal, caring&nbsp;friends...a snuggly pup...a great group of 6th graders to share my days with...and so much more!</FONT></P> <P><FONT color=#660000>What are you most thankful for?</FONT> </P><P><STRONG><FONT color=#0099ff>We had our very first snowfall in Rochester this morning! It was a winter wonderland this morning---so pretty on my drive in to GCMS!</FONT></STRONG></P> <P><STRONG><FONT color=#0099ff>It's hard to believe that we made it through November without snow...but December came in and the flurries were flying! What do you like to do in snowy weather? Do you play outside in the snow...or do you prefer to stay indoors and out of the cold??</FONT></STRONG></P> <P><STRONG><FONT color=#0099ff>I like having snow, but wish our winters in NY&nbsp;weren't so LONG! When it snows, I like to sit by the fireplace and cuddle up with my family on the couch.
