This year our class is earning  money*, saving  money* and spending  money*.  It is a great way to learn about economy!  *Play money, of course!  Students will rotate through the listed jobs and earn the amount indicated each time the job is done successfully.  Not all students will have a job each day, some jobs will be only once a week.  We will continue to add to the list of other ways that money can be earned.

Once a week, during Friday Fun, we will open our classroom store.  Week #1 - Students with numbers that are odd will be able to spend their hard earned money.  Week #2 - Students with numbers that are even will be able to spend their hard earned money.  Week #3 – Odd, Week #4 – Even.  And so on!!!!

Students will need to decide if they have enough money to buy what they want or if they need to continue to save until the next time they can shop.  For right now, Mrs. Beers and I are keeping the store stocked with fun items for the students to buy.  We are hoping to receive donations from students of gently used small toys, kids’ meal toys, books, puzzles, etc. to add to the store.

Thank you for your support,

Mrs. Darci Antinelli
