GATES CHILI SCHOOL DISTRICT

WELCOME TO SUCCESS!

A few notes from Mrs. Antinelli:

  • Welcome to all the new families joining our Brasser family from Neil Armstrong School.  We are happy to see you at Brasser, and hope that you will enjoy our very special school as much as we do.

  • It's not too late to join Mrs. Beers and I for our first family book club meeting of the school year.  We are reading the book, A Dog of His Own.  Click here for more information...

  • Thanks for visiting our class webpage.  I hope you find all you need to help you be successful in fourth grade.  I update this site periodically, so please stop back and see what's new.

School Bus

Mrs. Beers and I have a challenge for all fourth graders.  One of your goals this year is to "Strive for 25."  You must read 25 "good fit" books during this coming school year.  But, we're going to give you a head start.  You can begin the school year goal right now.  We will give you credit for up to 3 books towards your goal of 25 books.  Here's what you have to do:

  1. Read a book at your good fit/just right level.  (Not too easy or too hard)
  2. On a piece of paper, write the title of the book, author's name, and genre at the top of the paper.  Don't forget your name.
  3. Skip a line or two and write a summary of the book...at least 5 detailed sentences.
  4. Have your parent/guardian sign the bottom of the paper.
  5. Put it in a safe place and bring it to your teacher the first week of school.

Happy reading!
