Continuing Education

Welcome to the Gates Chili School District Continuing Education web site. The Continuing Education staff is pleased to serve the residents of the District and surrounding areas. We offer over 400 courses during each of our four annual sessions. We endeavor to offer courses, which are desirable, enjoyable, useful and affordable.

We offer over 200 on-line courses in a wide range of subject areas including computers, internet, certification prep courses, writing, photography, law, business, health care and personal enrichment. Because of the restricted size of our paper brochure, we are unable to list all the available on-line courses in it.  However, you can easily review all our on-line courses and obtain detailed course descriptions by clicking on the Gates Chili On-Line Instruction Center link below.

District residents automatically receive our brochure via mail each session. If you are not a Gates Chili School District resident but would like to receive our brochure, please notify us by phone or email and we will put you on the distribution list.

If you, or someone you know, has an idea for a course, or are interested in personally offering a course, please let us know. Our office is located in the Gates Chili High School, Room C446.

Marla Chefalo is the Continuing Education Director.  You can contact her by Phone: 585 247-5345; by Fax: 585 340-5516; or, by e-mail:   marla_chefalo@gateschili.monroe.edu.

Our office hours during the school year are: Monday - Thursday 9 a.m.-8:00 p.m. We are closed on Fridays and school holidays.
