GCMS PTO 2009-2010

All parents and teachers are invited to attend the monthly meetings of the GCMS PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) in the school library. Please mark your calendar for upcoming meeting dates.

What we do:

• Organize one major fundraiser in the fall to raise funds to be distributed throughout the year.
• Funds are used to provide field trips and special activities for the students of GCMS. They also help with the 8th grade trips.
• Communicate with the volunteer coordinator to provide supervision and snacks for social activities like dances and roller skating parties.
• Distribute information about school PTO happenings via e-mail to parents who choose to be added to that list.
• Offer special projects throughout the year as needs arise for special circumstances, needy families, supporting our troops, etc.
