Social-Emotional Learning Toolkit

The Gates Chili Restorative/SEL Toolkit supports the revised Gates Chili Code of Conduct and Support by aligning classroom practices with our evolving policies. The adoption of the revised Code of Conduct and Support represents a shift from punitive measures to building affirming relationships, repairing harm and providing opportunities for skill building.

This toolkit focuses primarily on Tier 1 strategies to create a welcoming and affirming environment and Tier 1 responses and interventions, but it is also intended to be an evolving document that will continue to be added to over the course of the school year.
